What Counts is a New Creation

‘On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you’ John 14.20.

This is the day we are born again, that we realize we are part of His life and that we belong to a real community that is in heaven, in us and growing around us as people are drawn into the Family of God.

Jesus wants to draw us into a community of being – not a community of doing. The truth is we are not born again because we have adopted a moral stance or embraced a denominational behavior. We are born again when we agree that Christ is our life.

Jesus urges us to embrace and live in His Life because it is the difference between a life in the letter and a life in the Spirit of Himself, our Father and Holy Spirit. This is a life in which we have been drawn into the community of heaven to co-habit with the trinity and they with us.

The church Jesus builds is the church that is Himself as you and as us.
